Nature of work: Relief assistance and construction
work (shelter) for the refugees. RDRS has been working in northwest
Bangladesh since 1972. The organization has an established set of
programme to face the natural disasters like flood, cyclones, river
erosions, drought and carry out post-disaster rehabilitation operations.
RDRS actively participated in assisting Myanmarese refugees in Cox's
bazaar during 1978-79 and Rohingya refugees influx in 1991-92.
